Historically, Sicilian Cuisine was held in high regard:one of the earliest cookbooks, "the art of cooking", by Mithaecus, derived from fith-century B.C. Siracusa. In medieval Times, Sicilian chefs were much sought after in foreign courts and accorded the same esteem as a French chef today.
Full meals are very elaborated affairs. These are generally served in a Trattoria or a Ristorante. But a good and cheap Pizza around is never a bad choice! ;o)
The Bill and the Tip. In Italy you leave the tip only if you want. Everything is included in the price. If the waiters and the services are very nice you can leave a tip (if you want)...between 5% and 10% but....you don't have to if you don't want!
