Giorgio is the BEST!Despite remodeling, and trying to take a vacation, Giorgio was generous enough to let me stay at his bed and breakfast for a few days in January 2004. He was so incredible. He took me for a driving tour of Palermo, introduced me to Sicilian food, and gave me an excellent night tour of Lo Spasimo- this was definitely a highlight of my trip! He also took me to Segesta and Erice- two places I would have had difficulty getting to on my own.Giorgio's generosity and great sense of humor definitely separate a stay at his place from a stay anywhere else.If you are going to Palermo- stay with Giorgio!I recommend him and his bed and breakfast whole- heartedly.If you do go....tell him Jen from Boston said "hi".:)Have a great trip!

heartily recommend Giorgio's House as an excellent value in budget accommodations and for its unsurpassed service. Georgio could not have been a more helpful, gracious, and charismatic host. Even after changes in our plans resulted in our arriving in Palermo in the dead of the night, he cheerfully rescued us from wherever it was we had lost ourselves in the unsignposted streets, driving to where we were and escorting us to his inn. Apart from this beyond-the-call service, I gather that his usual service is just as good, including his assistance in planning our touring of the area. The accommodations were fine for the price; at that rate for a room in the heart of Palermo it should have come as no surprise that we found ourselves in a suite of rooms, including private bedrooms of course, but in which three sets of guests shared two bathrooms and a kitchen. Giorgio's House is located very near many of the principal tourist attractions and affords a medium level of personal security in a city not well regarded for its safety. Giorgio helpfully provides a map showing what areas to avoid and the safe on-foot approaches to his property. Georgio's English was excellent, and all our suite-mates were American. In addition, he was responsive to all our pre-stay e-mails. We would definitely stay there again.

Really friendly and helpful. Giorgio dedicates most of his day to his guests showing them the sights of Palermo and producing useful maps and advice.The neighbourhood is not great but Giorgio more than makes up for it with his friendly approach and his efforts to keep everyone happy. Nice clean rooms and good breakfast. Reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

If you want to experience Palermo as a tourist, stay at the "Holiday Inn". If you want to experience Palermo as a Sicilian, stay with Giorgio. He is a great host/guide and it is a great experience.

Giorgio was Amazing. The rooms, Amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a good time. So if you're a crabapple, you should stay somewhere else. The location is great. Water pressure is great. Giorgio also takes you to yummy rustico restaurants and doesn't make fun of your butchered Italian when you order! My friends and I had the best vacation I could imagine. All thanks to Vitamin G. (That's Giorgio)

I spent three nights at Giorgio's House and I can only say nice words about this Bed and Breakfast, Palermo and Giorgio himself. Other ecstatic reviews are not exaggerated. Complimenti Giorgio! I will certainly return.HélèneP.S. Giorgio speaks good French as well.
