If you ever think to go to Palermo, you must go to Giorgio's house! It's not only about the room or where it's placed... it's about the cosy place, nice people you meet and with Giorgio a great organiser of "going out's" ;-)He brings you to eat the typical Sicilian things, he's full of tips and of course, the breakfast is great. These are the really friendly Sicilians you never know about. We'll go there again for sure.Keep going Giorgio!Grazie.

On behalf of my husband and myself, I would like to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at Giorgio's House in Palermo, Italy last November.First of all, Giorgio is a perfect host and a great guide. He knowseverything you need to know about the area and if he doesn't know, he takes the time to find out. His bed and breakfast is clean and his selections for breakfast were above and beyond anything we had been offered in all of Italy! He picked us up at the ferry station and took us back again when we were leaving. He gave us a 2 hour plus tour of Palermo where we could taste first hand the local quisine--all at no extra cost to us!Giorgio is a very intelligent, thoughtful person, too. He is very interestedin all of his guests and goes out of his way to make sure everyone iscomfortable and has all that they need.Giorgio's place is also centrally located in Palermo; most attractions inthe downtown area are within walking distance. We would definitely stay with Giorgio if we go there again!Thank you, Giorgio, for a wonderful stay!

After seeing the great reviews about Giorgio's House we were a bit suspicious, but still decided to go there. It was a pleasant surprise that we found the friendly price and welcoming host and the service exactly as were told.Well, I'll be repeating, but- the place is in the heart of the city, you'll definitely see this area developing fast in the next few years; the infrstructure is excellent- the central station and Orlean's train station within the walk of 5-15 min.; groceries downstairs for very hungry visitors (although the breakfast is ample) and spots of interest all around and in every direction (just bring comfortable shoes for walking). Besides, we were supplied with great advice on what to do and where to go (and even more important- where NOT to go).But above all the value is the friendly host being always on time (in Italy!) and being really concerned about his visitors, treating them rather as his friends than tourists.

We spent our few days at this friendly place and under loving care of Giorgio - it is nice to come to a foreign country and into an unknown town and be received like a member of own family. We recommend strongly.

This was a gem discovered by reading reviews on tripadvisor and we agree! Giorgio's House is located very close to all the great sights in the historic centre. By day, the street is teeming with activity: little children going to school, shops, churches but at night we found it very quiet and enjoyable. Every morning there is a breakfast served and the opportunity to meet fellow guests. The best part was Giorgio who almost nightly offers excursions to areas of interest. We enjoyed a night walk through La Kalsa with recommendations from Giorgio on where to eat, where not to eat, what to do and historic tidbits. This really opened our eyes to the city and made Palermo one of the highlights to our trip.

My husband and I stayed at Giorgio's House Sept 28th for 2 nights. I found the B&B online and enjoyed the "catchy" web page. Looked like fun and IT WAS! Giorgio is such a gracious, helpful, fun and interesting host! He picked us up and took us back to the train station. He took us out the first night for a tour of Palermo--places not known to the tourists--and a great dinner. We enjoyed his company and his knowledge of Palermo and Sicily. Our room was very comfortable, bathroom spacious and clean and the breakfast excellent. We will certainly stay here again if and when we travel to Palermo. Thanks Giorgio!!
