Staying at Giorgio's house was excellent. He made every thing very easy from picking you to helping plan day trips and also his free and very entertaining night tours. Would recommend girogio's house to anyone!

Thank you Giorgio for being so helpful! It is a shame I could only stay one night...a word of warning for anyone thinking of staying: You must book early, Giorgio's House is very popular!I say that this is Palermo's best tourist attraction because everyone should stay here first, because everything you need to know about Palermo and Sicily is in Giorgios head (and on his walls). And best of all, his head speaks good English, and French, and I think German too!I could not wish for a better place, especially for the price. OK, perhaps the mattress on the bed is a little soft, but apart from that, you get breakfast as well.Worth visiting Sicily for

My brother and I stayed at Giorgio's House B&B for two nights and it was a fantastic experience. The guesthouse is cozy and clean, with other great people staying there who you can experience Palermo with. In the morning, breakfast with the others and Giorgio is a fun way to start the day. On our second day there, Giorgio took us on a hike at Zingaro Reservation. He drove us in his car (for free!!) and we spent the day enjoying a beautiful secluded pebble beach. We would have never, ever seen anything this beautiful if Giorgio hadn't taken us out of his way to show us it. I would definitly recommend Giorgios' house for anybody looking for a fun, inviting, and exciting stay in Palermo, Sicily.

The question has to be, why would you NOT stay with Giorgio if you're in Palermo? He came and picked us up and helped carry our bags; he was a fount of knowledge and was full of good advice about where to go and what to see; his breakfasts are fantastic; his house is clean and tidy, and there's a comfortable lounge with a TV and DVDs for when you've had enough of running around; although the bathrooms (2) are shared, I never had to wait and they're big and clean, and everything works, and there's a kitchen if you want to do some cooking yourself - which also has a beer fridge with an honesty box!Giorgio is a lovely guy, very friendly and generous (he gave us two train tickets to Cefalu which he had lying around, and wouldn't take a penny for them); he drove us and another couple who were staying with him up to Monreale for the evening, showed us round and found a very nice little restaurant for us to eat in.... the list goes on. Oh, and when we left, he dropped us down to the car hire place with our bags. What a gent.Suffice to say that we felt very, very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Giorgio - we'll recommend you to anyone who stands still long enough! One thing I should mention - Palermo is VERY NOISY, even at night, but that's the same anywhere in the city, not just at Giorgio's. If you don't like noise, I suggest you try a different town. For what it's worth, we slept like babies every night and were bright-eyed and bushy tailed for breakfast every morning. Mmm... Arancini...Oh, yeah, one more thing. Right next to Giorgio's House there's a bakery/pizza shop which has very good, cheap food and drinks for sale. Really, really handy, particularly when you've been out all day and can't be bothered to go out and find a restaurant! All in all, I can't recommend Giorgio and his House highly enough. I could go on all day, but instead I'll just say - TRY IT FOR YOURSELF! You won't regret it!

Well what can you say about Giorgio's place firstly about Giorgio himself the man is very generous and hardworking nothing is to much trouble for him . We went to his accomodation not really knowing what to expect but are so glad that we did . From meeting us at the railway station to taking us on an evening trip to Monreale Giorgio offers something that no other hotel or B&B offers. Also the people that you will meet atGiorgio's will be friendly as it seems to rub off from him. Forget about the price it is great value for money but dont book it for that book it for the experience . I could go on to tell you about the accomodation and the area like other reviewers have but you will discover that for yourself Palermo has lots to offer go see it. Thanks GiorgioJohn & Theresa
