I have just stayed at Giorgio's House for 7 nights (21st - 28 April) with 5 friends and had an absolutely fantastic time.Giorgio brought breakfast every morning, which was always delicous. He also stayed to talk to us to see if we needed any help or information for that day, e.g how to get to places, train times etc. He took us on walking tour of Palermo which included facts about the town's history and some sights we may not have found on our own. We then all went for a lovely meal with the other guest staying at Giorgio's who was from America.Giorgio also took us on a day trip to Poggioreale, a town that had been hit by an earthquake in 1968 and been left as it was - fascinating! Following this we had the most amazing lunch at a restaurant Giorgio recommended, we then went on to the hill town of Erice which was stunning.Giorgio was lovely and one of the most genuine people I have met, passionate about the things he believes in. It was excellent value for money, the apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. It is a noisy and busy area of Palermo, but to be fair Palermo is a noisy and busy city so I think this is to be expected.I would be happy to recommend Giorgio's House to anyone.

Would you like someone you can totally trust and depend on during your trip to Sicily? Then stay with Giorgio. He is a great person with a strong desire to make your entire trip to Sicily wonderful. For the price, you can not expect a luxury B&B, but it was very clean, safe, and in a perfect location for touring the most important sites in Palermo. Giorgio provided free transportation to and from the train station and gave us some great advice about touring Sicily. He took us to a hillside restaurant with terrific views outside of Palermo and told us that during our touring of different locations in Sicily if we had any problems to give him a call...he would try to help out. Meeting Giorgio and staying in his place the first 2 nights in Sicily was a perfect start. You can find more expensive and luxury places to stay in Palermo...but you will never find a better friend than Giorgio.

This was an amazing week in Giorgos House, we now want to stay in his place in Argentina too.His hospitality was first class and he made us very welcome. The appartment was very homely and he made sure we had everything we needed. He took us on tours of Palermo as well as advising us on other trips around Sicily. One day he took us on a day trip which was such a good day and included visiting an amazing traditional restaurant which was the best meal ever. How many other B&B's would do this for you?Giorgos house, gets 10/10 without doubt. Thanks for a great week Giorgos,Rob - Sheffield

We stayed two nights at Giorgio's House in Palermo, Sicily. While Palermo was interesting, it was our stay with Giorgio that really made our visit there memorable. Giorgio's House is comfortable and conveniently located; breakfast with Giorgio felt like being in someone's home. But what really stands out in our memory were our two evenings out with Giorgio. One evening he took us for a walking tour and dinner in the old city; and the other for a drive in his car for dinner at a rustic country inn in the mountains. We feel like we have made a real friend in Palermo. We highly recommend a stay at Giorgio's House!

We were 6 weary Americans who had just crossed the pond (complete with delayed flights, lost luggage, etc.) when we descended on Giorgio's House and took it over for two days. What a treat! Giorgio is a jewel, easy-going and responsive. It is apparent he really enjoys being a host. The house was clean and homey. The rooms were large by European standards, the bathrooms more than adequate, and the breakfast (which Giorgio came each morning to prepare at the time of our choosing) was fabulous. We had read reports of excessive road noise and came prepared with ear plugs; we didn't need them as it turned out, because it wasn't such an issue after all. Giorgio's House is an easy walk to some of the principal tourist attractions in Palermo, and although it's not in the nicest section of town, we never felt unsafe. The neighbors quickly knew we were Giorgio's guests and waved happily every time they saw us, making sure we knew how to get home. Giorgio, himself, took great pains to ensure that we had a good time and could find our way around. He recommended delightful local bistros and restaurants; and, when we all went out to dinner with him, he refused to let us buy him dinner. Giorgio's House is not the Ritz, but we didn't want the Ritz! We wanted Palermo with Palermitans, not with tourists. Giorgio's is a family apartment he inherited, and it's clear he wants you to feel comfortable and at home there. If you make arrangements to go to Giorgio's, you'll find him very prompt in responing to your emails. If you want 3 star amenities, go to a 3-star hotel. If you want comfortable surroundings, a sense of permission, terrific prices, and a gracious host, GO TO GIORGIO'S HOUSE. We understand Giorgio has just opened a new B&B in Buenos Aires, and we're already trying to figure out when we'll be able to stay with Giorgio there. One final note: A sports jacket was accidentally left behind at Giorgio's. He went WAY out of his way to be sure it was returned to us. Tante grazie, Giorgio.

Giorgio came and met us. His friendliness and enthusiasm shone straight away and that was present for the two nights that we stayed.- We visited restaurants recommended by him.- Listened to his advice on what was available in Palermo to do.- Met other guests from other countries.- Ate pastries for breakfast that were typical to Sicily.- Went on a tour of Palermo with him and the other guests. All in all had a brilliant time. By the way the room was lovely, large and clean. A perfect end to our vacation. I would recommend Giorgios house to anyone who likes the local touch and enjoys excellent value for money. Brilliant especially if you are travelling by yourself. Giorgio is a brilliant host

Giorgio's was a lovely bed and breakfast in the heart of Palermo. The price was great. We were very pleased with th breakfast every morning and Giorgio's evening walking tour. A great way to spend our few days in Sicily.
