My wife and I stayed at Giorgio's B&B in late September. He offers personal service, eats breakfast with guests, helps with problems and for free took us on an amazing tour of Palermo and nearby mountain sites and a very good and inexpensive Sicilan restaurant. On the tour we went to a church that is still partially in ruins from World War II bombing and we came across a symphony orchestra rehearsing for a TV performance (he knew they would be there). With fantastic lighting effects, the twilight outside and acoustics in the stone church, it was an awesome experience that we would never have had without Girogio's local knowledge. He also is an excellent observer of the Italian, US and global cultures, and extremely witty. He serves fantastic breakfasts and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is great for exploring Palermo highlights on foot. We would certainly go back next time we head to Palermo.

Had a fantastic stay at Giorgio's House!! The guesthouse is located in the historical quarter so it is easy to walk to all the top attractions in Palermo. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfasts are wonderful! Giorgio is charming, a really great host - he goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable and give you an authentic Sicilian experience. We went on various adventures with Giorgio and had great fun - and tasted some delicious cannoli!! Would highly recommend staying here!

I stayed for two nights in May 2008 and loved the place. Giorgio collected me from the station which was wonderful since I had a bicycle in a box as well as my luggage. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and Giorgio goes out of his way to ensure that each guest has a wonderful stay and enjoys Palermo.Giorgio's House is an easy walk from the old part of Palermo, and the area was safe. The small convenience store next door was very handy as well.The breakfasts were fantastic and Giorgio spends a lot of time chatting with guests and giving travel advice for Palermo and Sicily.Highly recommended.

This B&B was fab, the host was so welcoming and always happy... like it states on his page... 'For fun. Enjoy the Spirit of Giorgio's House. All travellers like us are welcomed!!!' We experienced it all... Top B&B.Close to locale train stations, shops and transport routes, and if you get special treatment you can have a great tour of the hidden jems of Sicily with Giorgio!

This was my second stay at Giorgio's House. I had so much more of Sicily to see and couldn't wait to get back to Giorgio's. As before Giorgio was a delightful host. I can't think of a more perfect place to stay. Convenient to all of Palermo on foot- an easy walk to buses and trains for further exploring- all in all a wonderful local. Yes it can be a bit noisy- but when in the middle of a city this to be expected and easily dealt with. The nearby market is a wonder. I cannot recommend this b&b enough. A perfect taste of Sicily.

Considering our short stay in Palermo (1 night / 2 days), we were able to make the most of it thanks to Georgio, who showed us a town nearby, Piano degli Albanesi, and its Canoli festival. The stay is highly recommended.

Spent two days in Giorgio's House. Giorgio was very welcoming and energetic and did his best to make our stay fun. He gave a great route for a whistlestop tour of Palermo's sights. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, although quite noisy with traffic early in the morning. That's the city for you though I suppose.We went on trip with Giorgio and the other guests to a village festival which was really different and a good experience.
